EPISODES

Episode 01 – Arthur Ward and Brandi Hofer. Regina-based Arthur Ward is a sports photographer specializing in ‘Sportraits’, evocative otherworldly portraits of athletes, while Lloydminster painter Brandi Hofer creates large expressionist portraits with the hands-on assistance of her three-year-old son.

Episode 02 – Carole Epp and Judy Wensel. Saskatoon ceramic artist Carole Epp mixes whimsey and the macabre in her much sought after sculptures and dish ware, while Regina’s Judy Wensel teaches rigorously at a youth theatre school and directs a professional production of a one-person play.

Episode 03 – Tenille Campbell and Robert Truszkowski. Tenille Campbell is a Dene and Metis author and photographer whose recent book #IndianLovePoems is a frank and funny consideration of Indigenous intimacy and sexuality, while Robert Truszkowski is a printmaker teaching at the University of Regina, whose work explores popular culture, authority and language.

Episode 04 – Davy Sage and Yvette Nolan. Regina-based, Nigerian-born Davy Sage crafts cool Afro-pop songs that perfectly suit his smooth voice for his first full-length album, titled Identity, while Saskatoon playwright, director and dramaturge Yvette Nolan casts a new production and helps two Saskatchewan writers fine tune and stage their own play.

Episode 05 – Keah and Janis Procyk. Keah, an energetic 20-year-old pop singer-songwriter with a rich voice and a knock-out stage presence, crafts her first professionally produced songs and performs her first headlining stage performance, while Regina-based designer Janis Procyk pushes the boundaries of fashion on the prairies, debuting a unisex line at Saskatchewan Fashion Week.

Episode 06 – Debbie Wozniak-Bonk and Dakota Ray Hebert. Painter Debbie Wozniak-Bonk depicts the southern Saskatchewan landscape with tones of mystery and nostalgia, while Saskatoon actor Dakota Ray Hebert devotes the summer to launching a stand-up comedy career.
